  Kansas State Beats Rival Kansas, 28–⁠6 MANHATTAN, Kans., Oct. 30. Kansas States Wildcats, fumbling and stumbling at times, but battling all the way, scored two touchdowns in both the second and fourth quarters to whip their traditional enemy, the Kansas Jayhawks, 1876, in a Big Seven game before $1,000. The victory, scored in chilly weather, was Kansas States fifth of the season against two losses and Kansas University’s seventh straight defeat. Bill Darlington, fleet Negro halfback from Kansas City, personally led a Wildcat drive of IS yards that paid off with Car rington’s slash from the one-foot line in the second quarter. The second State touchdown came on a 26-yard pass play from Quarterback Jim Logsdon to Halfback Tony Addeo. Corky Taylor got both of Kansas States fourth-quarter touchdoWnS on passes after Kansas Tommy Webb had scored to narrow the count to 14–⁠6.
