  bauman Comes Back In Missouri Victory COLUMBIA, Mo-, Oct. 23.- Bob Bauman, off the shelf only two weeks, smashed over for two touchdowns in leading Missouri to a 32–⁠14 Big Seven victory over Iowa State today. The win kept the Tigers in the running for an Orange Bowl bid. Bauman, Missouri’s fullback and blocking specialist who was injured in the first game of the season, crashed over from the one-yard line in the second and from the four in the third period. Apparently fully recovered from injuries suffered in the Purdue game, Bauman blocked and ran brilliantly as the Missourians moved to a 300 half time lead. then traded touch downs with the outmanned Iowans in the last two quarters.
