Kentucky travelled 72 yards to a touchdown with the opening kickoff. but Florida came right back to tie it up and initiated two more drives with Kentucky fumbles near midfield. Allen passed 10 yards to We’ll ton Lockhart for the first touch down, scored the second team from the first, pitched out to Jackie Simpson for 6 yards and the third. and kicked the three conversions. Kentucky moved the ball with ease until Jared loose from it.. or until Bob Hardy’s passes fell into Florida hands. Hardy scored Kentucky’s touch down and converted.
