  7 Late Touchdowns By Boston College Beat Fordham, 21–⁠7 NEW YORK. Oct. 16.-A big, bruising Boston College football team wore down the badly out weighed Fordham Rams today and crashed through for two touchdowns in the waning NOM ents to register its fourth straight victory, 21–⁠7. A crowd of 1856 saw the unbeaten Eagles halt four Fordham drives inside their own territory in the third and fourth quarters, then claw back with a pair Of six-pointers within a space of less than two and a half minutes to inflict the second defeat in three games upon the Rams. ~ Dick Gagliardi, a hard-driving 185-pound junior from Hamden, Conn.,, scored the tie-breaking touchdown at 9;20 of the fourth period. He crashed over from the three-yard line after his 49, yard run around his own left end had put the ball in scoring position. The Eagles scored again at 11:45 when Ed Desylva bulled over from the one. A Fordham tumble was recovered by Francis Morze on the Ram IA and De- Sylvia carried the ball over in two tries.
