  Kansas Coach Quits After Missouri Wins In Fist-Fioht Finish LAWRENCE, Kans., Nov. 21.- Missouri smacked over a touch down in the second quarter and scored a field goal in the fourth today to defeat it’s traditional enemy, Kansas, 1916. The game featured a free-swinging melee involving players and spectators in the last half minute. The victory gave Missouri a tie with Kansas State for second place in the final Big Seven Conference standings with four sue ceSseS and two defeats. Missouri had II fresh players most of them second and third StringerS, in the game when Quarterback Dick Sandifer whipped long pass to Harold Patterson who scored for Kansas with 81 seconds remaining. A personal foul was called against Missouri on the Kansas touchdown pass that originated on the Jayhawks’ 47-yard line. Players rushed onto the field from both benches and hundreds of fans poured into the fray. Officials restored order quickly. Missouri – O 7 @ 40 Kansas q q
