Tulane Easily Powers To Victory Over Citadel NEW ORLEANS, Sept. 19.- Halfback Max MCGEE powered Tulane to an easy 54–6 victory today over the Citadel’s out manned football team by scoring twice on dazzling pass receptions and once on a bruising line plunge. MCGEE caught two scoring passes from Quarterback Pete Clement. one a lateral for rs yards. His knitting slashes crumbled the Citadel’s game line early in the first period and Tulane rolled easily. Tulane kept the South Carolinians hopelessly bottled up until Tulane reserves took over in the second period. Sltadel ---------- y u i
