Oregon Third-Siring Back Defeats Idaho, 20 10 IA MOSCOW, Idaho, Oct. 4.-Dean Van Leuven, a third-string sophomore fullback who carried the ball only once in Oregon’s first two games, raced so yards for touch down in the final four minutes today to hand the Webfoots a thrill ing 20–14 uphill football victory over Idaho. The visitors, favored by. six points but outplayed all the way, sent Van Leuven through the middle on a handoff and he sprinted through the Idaho Sec |ondary to go over standing up. Only so seconds earlier, the Ducks had tied the score when Tom Lyon blocked Wayne Andersons fourth-down punt on the Idaho S. Hal Dunham sneaked over from the and Emerson Har- Ivey kicked the point to tie the score at 14–14.
