  D. {. Back S Iona Run Helps Syracuse Win Over Colgate, 90 SYRACUSE. N. Y, Nov. IT, Avatus Stone, speedy Syracuse Quarterback. raced SIS yards for “a first-quarter touchdown and his teammates added a last-quarter safety to produce a 80 win over Colgate today. About $4,000 fans was the ira ,ditional rivals meet for the SIND time. Stone. l85-pound Negro from Armstrong High School, Washing ton. D. c.. turned in his touch down run on the final play of the opening period. He dashed around his own left end and raced along the sidelines to the Colgate goal. Bob Koleser converted.
