Fierce Attack Gives Temple 34–6 Win IOyer New York u. PHILADELPHIA, Nov. TO- Temple University had its attack rolling in high gear today and routed New York University. 81 6, for its sixth football victory of the season. The Owls, losers twice with two more to go, can compile their best record since 1881 if they can get by Fordham and Holy Cross the coming two week ends. The 1881 eleven had an Bill record. Temple might have run up a bigger score If its ball carriers weren’t so anxious to speed goal ward. They fumbled nine times and NYU recovered eight of the bobbles, twice inside the Violet 10-yard line. The Owls gained total of 472 yards, BIT on the ground, and piled up 10 first downs. NYU could move the ball forward only 96 yards.
