Dick Kozmoier Has Great Day AS Princeton Swomps Cornell kazmaier again went into action. | On the second play, he pitched a 45-yard pass to Pivirotto for a touchdown. ! Cornell now was completely demoralized. Before the third period was over. Princeton punched and passed to two more touchdowns, once from Sc yards out and again from 68. Kazmaier set up the first. letting McNeill plunge over for the final two yards, and on the second he completed fourth down pass from the four-yard line to Lyons. making it 40–8. | Score Without Kazmaier. | Rarest scoring play of the after noon came after only IL seconds of the fourth period. 1t was the Irarest because it was scored by Princeton and Kazamier had nothing to do with it. Calvo. desperately trying to get Cornell on the scoreboard again. threw a pass into the arms of Homer Smith, defensive back, who ran SO yards to raise the score to 46–8. | But Kazmaier’s heroics were not quite at an end. Less than four minutes later, he brought the crowd to its feet once more by racing 81 yards to Cornell’s seven yard line. Then. of all things, he missed with pass-for the second time. But he made up for it with short shot to George Stevens on the four-yard line and then. on fourth down, Kazamier successfully skrted his own right end. I That made it 53–8 and that was all for Kazmaier. who was retired amid a thunderous ovation 1t was about all for Cornell, too although late in the game. with substitutes freely sprinkled in Caldwell’s lineup. the Big Red got consolation touchdown after recovering tumble on Princeton S I26. | The IthacanS picked up a few yards running and then Calvo’s stand-in. John Jaeckel. passed to Todd Kolb to make the score 53–15. little more, but not much more, respectable.
