  DRAKE DEFEATED BY IOWA. Collegiates O-,tclassed at Iowa City by the University Wen and Cannot Score. Collegiates O,tclassed at Iowa City by the University Men and Cannot Score. Iowa City Oct. 27.-Three Thousand people witnessed the football game between the University of Iowa and Drake yesterday The Drake team made STUBBORN resistance in the frs half, although the ball was played IN its territory all the time. Several times the Iowa team had the ball 81 brakes 5O-yard line, but would lose Il on downs or tumble Z Warner finally made beautiful place kick for Iowa and at the end of the first half the score stood to o in favor of Iowa. In the second half the Iowa team clearly outo,assed it’s opponents. al though the latter fought stubbornly throughout. In the last half the Iowa team succeeded in pushing it’s mar over for four touchdowns, but War ner missed every goal but one. leaving the final score: Iowa. 26; Drake, 0.
