  Georgia Tech Rallies To Conquer Auburn bs inc AssOElsteu frska. ATLANTA, Oct. n. Auburn threw scare into Georgia Tech today, but the Jackets pulled them selves together in the third period to overcome a 81 deficit and 20 on to win 20–⁠7 before a crowd OF 10000. The Tigers dominated most of the first-half play, but they lacked the necessary punch in the clutches. After a scoreless first period, the Jackets took charge and drove 80 yards on a mixture of spot passes and short plunges which ended with Jack Peek tossing to Bill Busbin in the end zone. With the ball on the Tech 80, Auburn’s Kuykendall wheeled back and pitched down the middle to Garramone for a touchdown, H. M. Smalley’s placement made it 7–⁠6 at the half. The Jackets, backed up on their own 81, came through with a 79yard scoring pass in the third. Holtsinger tossed to Killer at the Tech 80. He twisted loose, broke into the clear and ran 70 yards, being pulled down as he crossed the goal. Then a minute or SO later, Holt singer stepped into a desperate Auburn pass from Watkins out In the fiat at the Auburn 40. He ran straight up the field for the score and Jack Helms added his second placekick for the games final score
