  Oklahoma Nears Title In Big Six, Downing Missouri, 20–⁠13 bS tne ASsOCidteQ PfeSe. COLUMBIA, Mo-, Nov. l3.-Oklahoma moved toward the Big Six football championship by smashing Missouri’s string Of 81 home VIC tories, 20 to 13, today before $500 Homecoming fans Rebounding from Missouri touchdown in the first three and one-half minutes Of play, the lighter Sooners pounced on Tiger fumbles with regularity and launched a two touchdown offensive in the second quarter that turned the tide. For Missouri. the defeat was the first at Memorial Stadium since 1898. Don (BulD Reece scored for Missouri, in the first period. In the second, Derald Lebow made the first counter for the Sooners, and Bob Brumley ran Al yards for the sec ond. Lebow repeated for the Sooners in the fourth. Bob Brumley’s kick was good. Paul Collins tailed Missouri’s final touchdown, climaxing a So yard drive. Morton converted.
