  BROWN GETS ITEASILY. Dartmouth Only Able to Score Once on the Brownonans. Providence, r. l., Nov. 25.-In the an nual foot ball game between Brown and Dartmouth here today, Brown was the victor by a score of 16 to 5. Dartmouth showed unexpected strength, and time and again held for downs. Richardson ten minutes of play, Brown was out played, fumbling badly. Dartmouth rushed the ball rapidly down the field after regaining the ball near the mid die of the field, on a Brown tumble. Brown held for downs on her 15-yard line. Proctor tried for a goal from the field from the 25yard line, but failed. Richardson kicked to the middle of the field, and again Dartmouth rushed the ball back to Browns 20-yard line, where Brown held. Proctor again tried for goal from the field, but failed. On an exchange of punts, Brown gained % yards. Brown regained the ball soon after, and Richardson kicked a goal from the field from Dartmouth S 40-yard line. Brown scored her first touchdown on line rushes and long runs by Wash burn and Richardson, Washburn going over from Dartmouth’s five-yard line, Richardson kicking a very difficult goal. Richardson, Washburn, Pratt and Hapgood advanced the ball well for Brown, Richardson and Washburn in dulging in long runs. The former went through the whole Dartmouth team from the latter’s Toyard line for the second touchdown. Richardson failed to kick the goal Brown did not score in the second half, but Proctor succeeded in kicking a goal from the field for Dartmouth from Browns 25-yard line.
