Trouble for Nebraska Looms in Grid Tilt With Hoosiers Air Defense Iowa State Problem; Kunsos Feels Shortage Of Reserves KANSAS CITY, Oct. s.-Nebraska’s Cornhuskers bubble with good health as they prepare for Saturdays game with Indiana. The best of health may be none too good. Husker Scout A. J. Lwandowski scrutinized the Indianans in their $50 rout of Butler and in their 81 81 setback by Ohio State. He claims the 1912 Hoosiers, paced by the brilliant Bill Hillenbrand and a new conner, Bob Cowan, is better than the one which needed Nebraska, 2l- 49, last year. Once upon a time if a football coach could come up with a staunch line. his main worries were over but no more. Oklahoma’s line held Tulsa U. to 76 yards running and yet the Sooners took 23–0 hammering. The air-loving Hurricane hurried along to 235 yards by passing. Kansas State leaves tonight for Pittsburgh and its game with Duquesne. Iowa State pass defense is receiving lot of attention. Nebraska banged the bell on II of its 16 passes against the Cyclones last Saturday. Kansas supporters point out that lack of reserves hampered the Jay hawks in their ITO loss to Denver. It’s change from the days when football teams Travelled with as much class as a special train to a bankers convention. Missouri will see the inside Of a Pullman only once this year-on its trip to New York and F’ordham. And Business Man. ager Virgil spurling isn’t too sure about that. ~
