Army Shows Power as Stirring Runs Beat Lafayette, Ia to 0 In the final period Mazur staged practically one-man parade to the goal. He received a punt on the Lafayette 80, returned it to the 33 passed to Hill to the 81, skirted his right end to the 3, then plunged the rest of the way for the touchdown Again Murphy converted. While this going, the robust La fayette lads we’re batting their heads futilely against the stalwart Army line or throwing passes with Indifferent success. The Leopards completed nine of 10 tosses, but the gains were small. The futility of their offensive efforts is best illustrated by the fact they never got beyond the Army 40 yard line and most of the time were we’ll back in their. own territory.
