BOSTON DEFEATS PLAINSMEN, 33–7 Unbeaten Eleven Wins Behind Playing OF O’Rourke And Mazniki BOSTON, Nov. 23.-R-Unbeaten- Boston college crumbled a pow erful Auburn eleven through the first half today and then took the Southern Plainsmen apart as the seams to roll up a 1877 total in their ninth straight victory before IS, 900 spectators at Fenway park. The high-flying Eagles, whose supporters were lamenting the abb sence of Gene Goodreault, their great right end, from the lineup for the first time in his college career, found ample cause for rejoicing in the performances OF Charlie O’Rourke and Frank MAJ nicki in the Boston backfield. O’Rourke gave another convincing all-America performance as he spanked two Boston touchdown drives with his bullet-like passing and his tricky running. He scored himself on the niftiest piece of run ming of the afternoon when he cut back sharply through tackle and tailed from 15-yards out, feinting several Auburn defenders out of danger along the route. Maznicki scored twice, first on the receiving end of a 41-yard pass from O’Rourke, which he took over his shoulder as he romped across the Auburn line with the nearest defender three yards away. His second came on the first play of the fourth period, a routine six yard off-tackle dash after the Eagles had marched Al yards. O’Rourke’s score came at the close of a spectacular march from kickoff in the third period. It required just eight plays and four minutes to complete and in it o.
