  Whitney, Mellon Horses Capture Major Share of onor Uppere Show Iowa in Big Ten Race, Rouf Of Wisconsin By 30–⁠12 Hints Badgers Are OuteIossed After Holding Howkeyes To Tie in First Half IOWA CITY, Iowa, Oct. 12.-Iowa’s Hawkeyes fired sharp warning to bidders for the 1910 Western Conference football championship today by routing Wisconsin, 80 to II, before $4,000 dads day fans here. The Hawkeyes roared back with second-half scoring spree to crush the hopeful Badgers after a 12-to-12 first-half tie Bounding Bill Green, a Junior full back, counted three touchdowns to lead the Iowans to an impressive victory. Iowas big Jim Walker, Negro tackle, then rushed in to block an attempted punt by Gordon Gle. scooped up the ball on the Iowa As and rambled SIS yards for a touch down.
