Fox, Steiner Must Be Watched, Cards Warned BrookIonders to Drill On Florida Gridiron Under Arcs Tonight Catholic University’s squad of 80 men was due at Miami late this afternoon and the regimen mapped out by Coach Dutch Bergman called for practice tonight under the lamps on the Hurricane field. Information sent in by Cardinal scouts indicated Terry Fox and Bill Steiner would be the backs Catholic would have to stop if it hoped to bag its second victory of the year Fox is reported to be an excellent passer and long kicker. while Steiner’s strong suit is running the ball. They played prominent roles in Miami’s 1870 victory over Stetson and 27–0 decision over Tampa This will be the fourth game between the schools. with Catholic holding 81 margin. Playing at Miami is no new experience to Bergman’s boys. for c. U. was the last team to perform in the rickety old Orange Bowl before the new concrete stadium was erected. Pete Sachon, one of the greatest kickers in Cardinal history and the best field general to play at Brook land in the last decade, again will be the spearhead of his teams Of Tense. 1t was Pete’s pitching and booting that held Detroit at bay two periods in the first game of the season and brought his mates a 60 victory over st.
