HANOVER. N. H., Nov. 18.-Corneils Big Red team ran and passed for more than quarter mile as it protected its clean gridiron slate by overwhelming the hapless Dart mouth Indians 35–6 today before an overflow crowd of 10000, the largest in Memorial Field history. The powerful Ithacans spread their scoring over every period and even with third-stringers in action kept their courageous rivals under control until the final quarter, when a too eager replacement interfered with a 33-yard pass that was ruled good for a first down on the 7-yard line. Only one of the other IL passes the desperate Indians attempted was completed and the first of the five that were intercepted started the Ithacans’ on their first touchdown march. Landsberg Big Ground Gamer. Early in the game Mort Landsberg, who accounted for much Of Cornell’s total of 1927 rushing yards, snagged a pass on Dartmouth’s 38 and went over from the 2-yard line after speedy Hal Mccullough averaged 5 yards on as many off-tackle slams and Kirk Hershey contributed six more on an end-around dash. Hershey set up the second touch down by completing an 18-yard pass from Mccullough and putting the ball in position for Nal Baker to score on a 15-yard reverse. Before the half ended Cornell cut loose with another furious drive that ended when Baker caught McCullough’s pass outside of the Dart mouth end zone. The Indians opened the last half with their second team in action, but the regulars were rushed back after Mike Ruddy, substitute quarterback, brought 50-yard march to a successful ending by ploughing over from the 2-yard line. Although rested, the Dartmouth regulars were unable to cope with the Ithacans when they got rolling from their own IL. Baker, Hershey, Landsberg and Mccullough each ran
