Yale Blues Prep For Brown After Blank By Green The Yale football team, still . little shaky from the 33–0 Dart mouth assault by land and air. be- gan preparations today for the Brown game Saturday. a game which 1t hoped would be 6 breatlier before the Princeton and Harvard encounters. Hoped” is the right word for the Brown game. The way the Ellis per- formed this weekend few would be surprised if Brown turned and knocked off the blue. Yale didn’t have a chance in the Dartmouth engagement. Their de- lenses were weak against the attack the Indians launched through the air and on the ground. Baunan and Kreiger and Hutchinson and Arico bombarded the Eli defenses merci- lessly, piling up the greatest score in the traditional Yale Dartmouth series. The Elis gained about 50 yards on the ground during the entire contest. They attempted 34 forward passes, and completed IS, almost 50 per cent. But most of these were on the short bullet variety, not heavy ground d-gainers. The Blue never threatened the Green. Other Connecticut teams, however, came through in fine shape. Trinity college maintained its tln- defeated record by trouncing Rochester, 4610. Wesleyan leaped on the Q. g. Coast Guard Academy and won, 20- 2. The University of Connecticut overwhelmed Lowell Textile, 20–0.. New Britain Teachers College, still undefeated, United, and un- scored-on, conquered Wagner, 39–0.
