  Southern California Romps Roughshod Over California 26–⁠0 Victory Is Most One-Sided in Their Series Since 1926 BERKELEY, Calf, Oct. 28- Southern CALIFORNIA; laundering Trojans passed and pounded one lap nearer the goal of most football teams-the Rose Bowl-today with a smashing 26–⁠0 victory over Uni versity of CALIFORNIA; Bears in one of the annual classics of the far western season. Three devastating surges in the third quarter turned the contest from a fairly close battle into a wild rout. The Trojans scored three times, twice on successive drives after taking kickoffs. It was the most one-sided win in this series since 1926. When the debacle was over some $1,000 fans were convinced they he’d been watching q Southern Califnornia eleven potentially one of the most powerful in many a year. The Trojans tossed combined running and passing attack ct the Bears that at times had the home team floundering around like a prep school eleven. Califnoria put up q gallant battle, but 1t was . futile tight.
