  Indiana Scores First. Win Over Badgers Since 1910 Till Sharp Hoosiers Helped By Wisconsin Errors In 14–⁠0 TussIe MADISON, Wis. Oct. 14.-An alert Indiana football team. taking advantage of many Wisconsin errors, punched over two touchdoWns today to defeat the Badgers, 40, before crowd of 10000 With the game but two minutes old, Indiana capitalized oa the first break to score Wisconsin fumbled on the first play after the kickoff and Indiana recovered on the Badger l9. Harold Hursh, left half back. threw touchdown pass to Eddie Herbert. quarterback. after the Badgers held for three downs. Herbert converted the extra point. Clee Maddox. reserve right half back, raced 80 yards late in the final period for the other Hoosier score and again Herbert converted. 1t was Indiana’s second victory over Wisconsin and the nrst since 1910. The game was slowed considerably by penalties. Indiana was penalized IA times for total of 80 yards and Wisconsin four times for 81. Wisconsin scored from the Award line early in the second quarter but the play was called hack and a 5-yard offside penalty was inflicted on the Badgers. Wisconsin made 10 first downs to 1ndiana’s 5. but the Badgers lacked scoring punch.
