THE punters are going 10 find the odds extremely tight when they start shopping around among the Broadway bookies for prices on this week-ends football games. The books today are quoting no better than to 10, and you pick ‘em on Columbia Navy Oregon State-Stanford, Princeton-Yale and Rice Texas AggieS. Some books are listing Dart mouth and Cornell at 9 to 10 either way, but the majority are quoting 6 to 5 on Dartmouth. Penn is the same price over Penn State. and Notre Dame the same over Minnesota. Unbeaten Santa Clara is only 7 to 5 over St. Mary’S. Lafayette lis 7 to 5 over Rutgers and the same figures go for Northwestern over Michigan and Ohio State over Illinois.
