Nebraska. x X X Kansas State -OklahOma.-The edge was taken from this game when State lost an upset to Kansas. They were looking too far ahead. Oklahoma will have to be on guard, but should win. X X X Lafayette-Penn State.-What ever happened to Penn State last week? If they don’t let the secret get away from them, they can win another. X X X Lehigh- New York U.-NYU didn’t hit the headlines by upsetting Ohio State-and they thought they would, but they can win Saturday. l.. S. U.-Missisippi State.-Mississippi State will be easier to stop than was Tennessee, so mark up one for the Tigers. Michigan–P Pennsylvania – Michigan should make better showing against this eastern foe than they did against Yale, and they beat Yale. X X X Michigan State -MissOuri.-A 7–⁠6 defeat is enough to discourage most any team, but State will plod along to an other victory. Mississippi-St. Louis. OF Miss looks good for another one this week. X X x Montana -GOnZaga. - The Grizzlies from Montana look set for this one. X X x Navy–NOtre Dame.-This is prob ably the best coached Notre Dame team since the days of Rockne. More good material can be found here than on any other campus. Three teams of almost equal strength should be more than enough to wear down Navy. X X X North CarOlina-V. p. 1.-The Tar Heels have the strength to turn this game with VPI into track meet. X X X North Carolina State Manhattan Looks like the New Workers. x X X North Dakota -DetrOit.-The Sioux sport a beaut of backfield but they will probably fail to score against Detroit. Detroit rather easily. x X X NOrthwestern-W Wisconsin. - If Car negie is in a good spot to bowl over Pitt, what do you think of North Westerns chances of going along with out touchdown being scored against her as yet. After the bruising battle with Minnesota, the Wildcats can’t help but have an off day. Z. and they can’t be off too far or Wisconsin will be tearing Chicago apart Saturday night. Just the same, Northwestern by the closest margin. X X X Ohio State–Purdue.-Purdue hasn’t been quite the same team since play ing Minnesota. Fordham and Iowa have both been able to hold the Boiler makers to tie scores. Believing them not to be fully recovered even yet, we pick State in hair raiser. X X x Princeton Rut gers. The Tigers tail is in jeopardy again. Princeton will win, but only after tough struggle. X X x Stanford Washington. - No one seems able to explain what has come over the Washington team With back field material all the way from here to there and plenty of good linemen except at center, the team has been unable to hit anything approaching a stride.
