  The game was played in 25-minute halves. BELOIT BEATEN. Good Game Put Up Against the Uni versity of Chicago Eleven. CHICAGO, Oct. 15.-In a game that, for brilliant playing, was far superior to any thing seen here so far this season. the Uni Versity of Chicago football eleven defeated the Be.oit college team today 81 to O. The score does not by any means indicate how hard Chicago had to play to win. In the first half, Left Tackle Hollenbeck, aided by superb interference, skirted Chicago’s %eaknleft end for 55 yards, bringing the ball to Chicago’s 7-yard line schlaker. Almost the same play occurred in the second half, when Hollenbeck again got around Schmahl’s end and with a clear field before him ran 80 yards before Schlaker again downed him. Chicago was unable to do anything with Beloits line in the first half, and time and again was forced to kick. Beloits tackles, Bunge and Hollenbeck, played their men off their feet, and at these points and around the left end Beloit directed most of her play s. Chieago’s line did better In the sec ond half. when their superior condition told on the fast-tiring Beloit men, but at no time -ore they able to gain much ground by straignU .Ine bucks. 2d
