  CORNHUSKERS HAND BEAVERS 32–⁠14 DEFEAT PORTLAND, Ore, Nov 30-Although making only seven first downs to fifteen by the Beavers, the University of Nebraska Corn huskers defeated Oregon State Col lege for the fifth time, here last Saturday afternoon. The Cornhuskers made their first downs good for touchdowns, and handed the Beavers a 80 to IA wal Looping, in a wide open game.
