The biggest battle Of all found Pitts burgh beating Ohio State, 6 to 0. and not throwing a single pass. Jock Sutherland played straight foot ball. but with the manpower Of the Panthers he can well afford to do it. An S3-yard run decided the Ala bama and Mississippi State game, to 0, and, of course, there we’re games in which one team overpowered the other, like Princeton beating Rutgers, 20 to 0, and Harvard whipping Brown, % to 0. 1t isn’t likely that any foot ball coach is going to fire kid of the squad because all he can do is put his head down on his chest and slough through the line for three or four yards. They need these kind of guys especially after a pass puts the ball on the l-yard line on first down.
