  CORNELL BEAT COLGATE. Ithaca, N. Y, September 2i-Cornell won it’s football game from Colgate on Psrcy field today but WAS unable to prevent the visitors from scoring. The score stood % to at the end of the first half and the coaches deemed 1t advisable to put in substitutes in line positions. As result, inexperienced guards and tackles were unable to Withstand the fierce on slaughts of Captain Cramp of Colgate, when he started to go through Cornell 8 limo. The feature of Cornell’s work was Captain Writings long run. He scored five touohdowns. The final score was Cornell 20, Colgate 8.
