BY DICK MILLER Hoosier collegiate pigskin pas timers won four out of five games against competitors from other states Saturday, while struggles between state rivals resulted in close decisions. Purdue turned back Wisconsin, 7 to 6; Indiana bumped Iowa, IL to O.; Notre Dame massacred Drake, 81 to 0, and Valparaiso easily turned back Detroit City college, % to 0. Only Butler was unable to defeat an out-state foe, losing a hard fought encounter to James Millikin, 13 to 7. De Paw finally broke into the win column with a 10 to 7 win over Hanover, Wabash beat Evansville 10 to 0, Franklin captured a 10 to IL decision from Earlham and Man chester beat Central Normal 81 to n A webbing kick after touchdown that barely skinned over the up rights gave Purdue’s title bound Boilermakers their 7-to-6 edge over a bitter rival, Wisconsin. 1t was the fourteenth successful boot in fifteen attempts for Paul Pardon ner, the little Purdue field general “a single point that may mean an other undisputed or co-championship in the Big Ten for the Lafaycite eleven. Jim Carter, the elusive sophomore who largely was responsible for the game-winning touchdown against Minnesota the week previous, again provided the spark for the Boiler maker victory, his thirty Vineyard sprint paving the way for Roy Horstman’s two-yard touchdown
