  MINNESOTA’S MACHINE MOWS DOWN CREIGHTON MINNEAPOLIS, Mimi, October 6 P).--Minnesotas 1923 gridiron machine started its season today by downing Creighton University of Omaha 40 to 0. With a varied attack that included a forward passing game 100 per cent sue cessful. the Gophers counted six touch downs and four points after touchdown to compile their total.
