  SYRACUSE is TIED BY OHIO WESLEYAN SYRACUSE, n. Y, November s. Ohio Wesleyan. playing Syracuse for the second time, gained another tie score today to hang alongside the 3-to-3 deadlock the teams played in 1925. Today the final score was 6-to-6. Ted Franz, Ohio halfback, intercepted an Orange pass early in the fourth period and raced 90 yards for the touchdown that gave the visitors the tie. Titon’s kick for point was wide. Syracuse scored in the first period when Baysinger turned right end on a reverse play. Coach George Gauthier of the visitors started his second team hut after Baysinger went over. he put in the varsity and from then on SYRIA cuse had real fight on it’s hands. Midway in the third period SYRIA cuse with SebO, Goldman and Barbuti pounding the line in a slam-hanS assault. marched 80 yards and when the fourth period opened. Goldman made it first down on the Ohioan’s Toward line. Here Tilton broke through and stopped Barbuti and when Goldman attempted pass on the next play. Franz leaped in, caught the hall and with six teammates running interference. galloped to the other end of the field for the tying points.
