Notre Dame Winner, l9 to 3, After Indiana Scores First feet Of the Crimson geal. Niemec plunged across and added the extra point with place kick. on the first play of the second period. A minute later 10 new Notre Dame men. including Flanagan and Collins, dashed onto the field. Playing smart foot ball, the South Bend team seized on every error OF the opposition. Meanwhile the battered Indiana line was given no chance to rest. Notre Dame scored its second touchdown in the third period when Flanagan followed Collins 40-yard run with short dash past the last white line that counted. The try for goal was wide of the mark. The final score was delivered in the last period after a long. hard drive by the entire Notre Dame eleven. Flanagan won the honor of carrying 1t over. but failed on the try for point. A chance for a fourth touchdown was lost when Dahman fumbled the hall on the fourth down with only two feet to go. N. D. .fl0,. Pos Indiana 49,. Cole Rick, -. Left end ........
