  YALE BEATS BROWN NEW HAVEN, Conn, Oct Is, R- Alert and steady football shot through with individual brilliance of the backfield star, Bruce Caldwell, car ried Yale to a 10 to victory over Brown in the Yale bowl today, in sweet retaliation for the triumph of the Bears year ago. Cashing on every Brown n1isplay, the Yale team held the whip hand all the way, twice sl1oow Caldwell loose for runs that led to touchdoWns. The victory WIS the 9th for Yale over Brown since the rivalry began in 1880. Two of the 33 games played were ties and a team of iron mem” won the fourth for Brown in 1926.
