  CORNELL, in FINAL HALF DRIVE, BEATS DARTMOUTH By the Associated Press, ITHACA, N. Y, November 13.-- A fighting Cornell team, welded into a crushing scoring machine in tho final minutes of play, rolled up II points in the fourth quarter of the annual Dartmouth struggle today to nose out thrilling 24-to-23 victory over her ancient rival. The individual brilliance of Eddie Dooley, field general Of the Green, had led the Dartmouth warriors to a 23-to-7 lead at the opening of the final period. Twice Dooley had whipped passes to Lane, a backfeld mate, and Cole, on the end, for tOuchdowns. Com bined with these points his field goal in the second period and Lanes 1Syard dash around end for the initial touchdown in the first quarter had given the Green margin that seemed unbeatable. Then the Red avalanche broke loose. A long pass brought the ball to Dartmouth’S 4-yard line and Molinet carried it over as soon as Cornell gained the ball again. Molinet, Bal derson and Hoekleman swept in relays through the Green tackles for a 60yard drive to the Dartmouth goal with the aid Of single pass.
