  WASHINGTON u. DEFEATS UNIV. OF CALIFORNIA Huskies Win Football Game Saturday by Score of l3 to 7. SEATTLE. Nov. S.-With a team averaging three pounds heavier per man. the University of California lost last Saturday afternoon to the University of Washington. in a foot ball game, by score of IL to I. The field was a sea of mud. Earl Jabs saved California from a whitewashing by breaking through the Husky line in the last period, diving in the mud to a touchdown.
