KANSAS KICKER RObS TIGERS Of TITLE LAWRENCE. Kan, Nov. 21.-Thc accurate toe of one ‘Stoney Wall spelled 10–7 defeat for the hitherto undefcated Missouri Tigers in their annual clash with the Kansas Jay haw kers here this afternoon. in one Of the most sensational Of their long series Of battles, robbing Missouri of the Valley conference title. Seldom mentioned in the starting hneups, but in the moment of crisis and when victory or defeat hung on the manner of delivery from place ment, all eyes turned to the side lines and Stoney Wall. When Hart made the Kansas touch down, Wall kicked the goal for the extra point. With the score tied and only q few minutes left TO play, Wall was again called and booted a perfeet placement from the 24-yard-line. 1t might be said that Wall had some thing 10 do with winning the game. He was not alone, however. the long punts OF Zuber being an important factor IN loosening the claws Of the Tiger on the Kansas goal post. The Tigers touchdown came early in the first quarter, when Clark. flashy Missouri half. caught n pretty 3J-yard pass from Captain Whiteman and scampered tho remaining ten yards for a touchdown. Whiteman then added the extra point.
