Oberlander Shines AS Dartmouth Walks Over Cornell by 62–13 Hanover, N. H., NOV. TAR With the giant “Swede” Oberlander as the ace of aces in a spectacular air attack that swept all before 1t, Dartmouth bombed Cornelrs football forces into submission today by the annihilating margin of 81 to 10. Before wildly cheering crowd OF $4,000 that filled every corner OF Memorial Field, Jess Hawley’s Big Green avalanche forward passed the red clad eleven into the worst defeat it has sustained in the five-year reign of Gloomy Gil” Oobie. Stimuli taneously, Dartmouth, by it’s as tonishing triumph over foe that came here with a formidable and I’M beaten record, lifted itself to the peak of the Eastern championship heap. The ubigitous Tully, whose two sensational touchdowns on passes in the third period helped roll UP the Green’s score, also displayed an unerring toe which booted eight drop kicks for as many extra points after touchdowns. Cornell nearly held her own in the rushing end of the game, totalling l. first downs to 10 for Dartmouth and holding the Gree Mine on close to even terms. But the Ithacans found cred in their efforts to check their foes air drive.
