CORNELL TRIMS COLUMBIA, 34–7 New Workers Unable to Cope With Aerial Attack Of Dobiie Proteges. ITHACA, y. Y. Nov. l3.-Cornell celebrated alumni day and incidentally the first meeting with Co. lumbia in fifteen years by soundly trouncing the visitors to the tune of “a to Z. The victors uncorked a varied offense, largely of the open variety. Eat Columbia could not cope with. The New Workers fought hard but were pitted against odds too great to conquer. Columbia’s exhibition stamped the team as one of the gamest on the gridiron today. The upstate team unleashed a strong offensive at the outset of the second half which pushed the Columbians down the field without any noticeable difficulty and Carey placed the ball on the Columbia 1-yard line for a first down. Mayer took the ball over the line on the first play and kicked goal.
