COLGATE HAS THE BLUES. Eleven Discouraged by Failure to Win From Rochester. Hamilton, N. r., Nov. 9.-Plainly discouraged by the 21 to II defeat Rochester University handed out to them Saturday. the Colgate football squad opened a new week of practice yesterday afternoon in anticipation of the clash here on Nov. 13 with the St. Bonaventure eleven. The result of Saturdays game was all the more bitter because the Col gate team showed an apparent super iority in the first half, scoring two touchdowns with very little opposi- ton. But when the diminutive cap tain of the Rochester team, Harris. started making gains by the aerial route the Colgate team seemed to fall apart, especially after Harris broke away for his long S6-yard run to a touchdown. Practice yesterday was long and hard. and it is expected that the se- 70 workouts will be continued throughout the week in order that the team may be in some sort of condition to make n better showing against St. Bonavcnture.
