  OKLAHOMA NEARER TITLE AFTER ROUT OF KANSAS ELEVEN Norman, Okla, Nov. S.-Oklahoma practically won the Missouri valley conference football championship Saturday by defeating University Of Kansas, 81 to 8. 1t was the first defeat Of the season for the Jayhawkers, and the second conference vic tory for Oklahoma Both used the forward pass freely. Oklahoma scored three touchdowns and kick ed goal each time. Kansas scored one touchdown, kicked goal, and secured q safety.

  OKLAHOMA DOWNS KANSAS NORMAN, Okla, Nov. 6.-The Un- ivers.ty of Oklahoma practically won the Missouri Valley Conference foot ball championship here today by de- feating the University of Kansas, 21 to 9.
