  OHIO STATE is VICTOR OVER PURDUE, II TO 0 COLUMBUS, Ohio. October 16.- Ohio state won it’s first Western Conference game of the season here this afternoon, defeating Purdue University II to O. The Buckeyes solved the much Wanted “Bo.iernlakers shift in the first period and. led by clever 10 yard pass, crossed Purdue’s goal two minutes before the period ended.
