  LOUISIANA STATE WINS TITLE FROM TULANE, 27–⁠6 NEW ORLEANS, La, November %. Louisiana State University won the state foot ball championship by defeating Tulane University here today, 81 to 6. This was the first defeat Of Tulane this season, but three touch downs by Fullback Bernstein and one by Halfback Mcfarland baffied the locals. Tulane scored a touchdown in the last period when Dutton in tercepted forward pass and crossed the Louisiana goal.
