  Lafayette Humbles Lehigh, 100, I’m Closing Minutes of Tussle Forward Pass Attack Results in Victory for the Maroon and White BETHLEHEM. Pa, Nov. 22-Lafay hard battle played before the largest crowd that ever witnessed the annual classic on Taylor Field. The score was 10 to G. 1t was not until the closing minutes of play that the grueling game was decided Lehigh was leading 6 to 3 with only two minutes play left when the Lafayette team launched a forward pass attack starting on their own 4O-yard line and in just three plays scored the touchdown, which gave them victory.   , LAFAYETTE RALLIES AND DEFEATS LEHIGH, 1916 BETHLEHEM. Pa, November 22- Lafayette came from behind in the final period today and defeated Lehigh in their annual gridiron battle by the score of 10 to 6. When the fourth period began the score stood 8 to in favor Of Lehigh. Then the Easton eleven staged a dazzling run ming and aerial attack which Gull minated in Ounce crossing the Lee high goal line few minutes before the game ended. Weldon kicked the goal.
