Michigan went down 10 defeat before Ohio State. - TO 8, this afternoon for the first time in 10 years. The defeat. il is generally conceded. eliminates Michigan as contender for the western conference football cham pionship. The work of Capt Harley, Quarterback Stinchcomb and Flowers, the visitors right end man, stood out as the feature of the game Several times Harley tore through the Michigan line for good gains. and in the third period he circled the Michigan right end for 80 yards and a touchdown, and on the few occasions that Michigan threatened his goal he punted out of danger. Block Kick. In the opening period when Cliff Sparks, the Michigan quarterback attempted TO punt from behind his own goal posts. the kick was block ed and Flowers fell on it for a touchdown.
