Minnesota used straight football throughout the game, the line plunges Of Ruben and Phillips proving very effective. Indiana scored its points IN the first quarter, Mathys the Crimson’s quarter back, drop kicking for two goals. PIE Gophers scored their first touchdown in the first period, taking the ball down the field from centre In three long runs.   Minnesota Easy Victor Over Indiana Eleven INDIANAPOLIS, Oct Ism Mnncsota’s football team was too powerful for the Indiana University eleven here to-day and won harfdly 20 to 6. Indiana scored six points in the first half before the Gophers got started when Mathys twice made drop kicks. Before the period ended, however, Minnesota had plunged across Indlana’s line and kicked goal. Straight football enabled Minnesota 10 score two more touchdowns. Phillips carried the bal over twice and Ruben once.
