The Green hne proved practically impregnable through ut, and only once. in the last quarter, when a furnble gave Springfield the ball on the twenty-yard line, was Dartmouth’s goal threatened. Cuddy Murphy furnished the big thrill of the contest by picking up loose ball near the close OF the third period and running thirty yards for a touch down. Shelburnc and Robertson also starred for Dartmouth, while Brett put up the best game for the visiting team. Frequent backfield fumbles marked the work OF the Green eleven. Spring field held until the end of the first period. Cdnnell went over the line at the start of the second quarter, and long gains by Robertson neted two more touchdowns. At the beginning of the third period, Jordan ran Springfield punt back If teen yards and Robertson added seven points to the Green total on forty yard dash around right end.
