It’s a tricky situation because while I definitely believe Dante’s slide was pretty late. I think that the hit from USC’s defender was disgusting.
You simply cannot launch at a quarterback like that. I do believe these guys need to be protected, before all else. I understand that it’s a violent sport, but it’s really one of those eye-test things you can tell right from wrong.
For Desman Stephens II … laughing on the sideline moments after watching the opposing team’s quarterback unresponsive thanks to your recklessness is unreal. I feel most hate is warranted and honestly expect better from a player for a premier program like USC.
After the game Lincoln Riley clearly has little comments on the incident the rest of us are worried about.
