Back, West Texas, to 1963

Jerry Richardson

Jerry Richardson played back at West Texas (to 1963). The Los Angeles Rams took Richardson in round 3, No. 35 overall in the 1964 NFL Draft. The Denver Broncos also took him in round 7, No. 54 overall in the 1964 AFL Draft.

Our player records start in 2004; before that they hold the honors, the Heisman vote and the draft (from 1936), with college years from the player’s Wikipedia article where it gives them.
