Gregg Carr played linebacker at Auburn (1981–⁠84). He was a consensus All‑American in 1984. The Pittsburgh Steelers took Carr in round 6, No. 160 overall in the 1985 NFL Draft. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2025.
